Meta Property Extensions
The Meta Property Extensions comprise a new technology, developed by L3 Technologies, providing Clarion developers with a means to access file properties at run-time.
Meta Properties facilitate the dynamic loading or specification and creation of tables without a predefined FILE structure.
This makes it possible to develop a host of generic applications that are not possible with conventional file drivers.
Availability
Currently the Meta Property Extensions are incorporated into the Paradox File Driver.
Third party File Driver developers will shortly be able to license this technology from L3 Technologies in order to add similar capabilities to their own software.
The Meta Property Extensions are designed to integrate with the TopSpeed File Driver Kit, so the addition of these features couldn't be easier.
